Sorry to say I am leaving this forum because I have just bought an Asus eee 900, installed Eeebuntu but will move on to OS X Leopard soon as Mac is my preferred system, and I am quite experienced with Hackintosh installations.

It's been brilliant and I've learnt an awful lot from the friendly people here but there's no point in staying as I'm selling the MiniBook on eBay at the moment.

Thanks very much for everything, and good luck in the future especially for the 2.6 kernel

Sorry to see you go but enjoy using your new baby and you will have fun with edubuntu. Think someones made an ubuntu derivative that looks like MacOS out there Hugh. Fred

I have an eee 900; works well with puppy linux and jemimah's famous puppeee.  Cold boot off an SD card in 23 secs.  But the epc/etc has a much different form factor.  They're separate entities, IMHO.
