JAR files for Mozilla themes

I have downloaded a number of Moziila themes for Bon Echo, but they all have JAR extensions. How can I extract these files to use on my CnMLifestyle Minibook?

Where did you download them from? When you do it from the official addons mozilla website they get installed into your browser right on.

Yes. From what I've read elsewhere the .jar file just needs to be put in the FF/Bon Echo add-ons directory, but I know not where that may hide.
Also, off-topic, but .jar files can be used with Opera too.
Unh.

Thanks, but Bon Echo totally rejects .jar files as add=on themes. Any ideas?

Remember BonEcho is firefox 2.0.0.1, so you can only use themes compatible with firefox 2. Anything newer wont work.
Cheers.

I think that's the answer. Bon Echo on CnM Minibook is the equivalent of Firefox 2. So although Mozilla offers a great variety of themes, they are mainly written for later later versions of Firefox, so beware. JAR files are not for the Little Laptops.
