Be good to see a board for each maker by brand name under a new Category.
That way we could all see what is avalable?
Good Idea or not?
Here are a few I prepared earlier, not sure if they are all considered small

Acer, Advent, Asus, Datawind, eMachines, Samsung

I think it's a bad idea. This forum is for Elonex one and Elonex One T,and its mostly identical siblings.

It's called "Small Linux Laptop Forum" I assumed it was for all brands sorry

Would it be better called "Small Linux Elonex Laptop Forum"

The trouble with putting someone's trade name into the title of a web site, forum, etc, is that they may object to its use - or want to take the thing over.

The machines discussed here are those made by "Skytone" (particularly the 'Alpha 400' and 'Alpha 400P' models) which are marketed under a variety of brand names.  See <http://www.skytone.net.cn/en/index.php> and <http://www.cnmlifestyle.com/>.

Yes. The name was kept generic because of the variety of names that the 'Little Linux Laptop' goes under.  A pretty extensive list of these are on www.littlelinuxlaptop.com

Don't think that would be an issue unless you were continualy slagging a brand off, even then manufacturers would at worst try to defentd there corner as trying to interveen can be high risk for them. But if the forum was only intended for
skytone units then I understand why you don't want to list the others
