Is it easy to do and is it worth it ?

Easy to do ? Yeah, just follow the instructions on the threads here. Any problems, just ask.

Worth it ? Well, you have to ask yourself what you want from your netbook. If the default OS does everything you want, there's no reason to switch. However, if there's some killer app only available on 3MX (like Dillo, for example), then it's worth it.

It's worth giving it a whirl, as you can restore the default OS if you don't like 3MX. Won't cost you anything other than a couple of hours of your time. Bargain !  ;D

I'd suggest trying rc3.1 vs rc2. It's newer and better. You may also like rc1.1 though not as feature full as rc3.1, it is quite fast. Or i did release 'Retro' which is an enhanced default OS with some nice added features not found in the default OS. You'll find all download links in the 3MX sub category on this forum.
