ONEt from M&S and Next ?
« on: March 23, 2009, 12:00:58 PM »
I wonder whatever became of this story:

"Next time you shop for duck a l’orange in Marks & Spencer or buy briefs in Next, you might also take away an Elonex netbook."

"Handbag-sized netbooks with 7in displays from the British PC maker will “soon go on sale” for £99 ($149/€109) in both retail chains, The Telegraph reports."

You can buy them on the Next web site and they sent me an email recently promoting them?

Don't know about M&S though?

200 quid ! Wow, that is really taking the piss ! I wonder how many returns they've had ?

I must admit, the red covered one looks very cool. Amazing what a bit of different-coloured plastic can do.  :D

Perhaps they could make a bit more margin if they added to the red one Go-Faster stripes?

Yes, that is a good price - those extras themselves are probably worth at least £20.00.....
