Adding (reed)switch for closed lid detection?

Anyone tried to add a (reed)switch to send the tiny things to sleep (or turn off) when the lid is closed?

I know what you mean - when closed and carrying around it's so easy to switch it on accidentally by pressing that certain spot on the case....

Well since the board started last September I don't remember anyone having a go with this, so might you be the first? :)

I think they may have changed the design of the ONEt recently because of that. The power switch is definitely recessed on mine, and it doesn't matter how hard I squeeze the case in that area, it just doesn't switch on.
