Replacement Battery for CnM Minibook (Elonex OneT)

The battery on a CnM Minibook (bought Maplin 15 months ago) now only lasts about 30 minutes.

Where can a replacement be obtained?
So far a web and eBay search has drawn a blank.

Is the pack also used on a different product e.g. portable DVD player which may open up a source?

Alternatively has anyone dismantled a pack and sourced the individual cells?

Any information will be appreciated.

The part you are looking for is a PTI  PL0430160P 7.4V 2100mAh HK26
Google the 'PTI  PLO430160' number to find out of date Chinese sites.
It is a 'Swiss roll' battery and I fear an obsolete item.
The CNM is still is a good E mail backup / photo viewer even when tethered to the wall.
Try making a power pack of 8 x 1.2v rechargeable AA 's fed to the external 9 v socket.

Hello everyone,

I know this topic is quite old but I have found a new supplier for the battery in the CnM Minibook.
The battery has the same connector as the original one and it only cost £12.
