Internet browsing issues

I have the CnM Minibook and have downloaded the patch as recommended and can log into my Sky wifi set up (Netgear- using channel 6 from what I can tell)
I can get on-line but find it difficult to explore the internet as I get frequent error messages server not found and slow response time
I have increased cache as the preferences suggested this could speed things up but am not sure if it made anything better or indeed what this means.
Has anyone had similar issues and if so found a cure as I was hoping this device would let my wife browse her favourite websites without the need for a full blown laptop.

Put your ISPs DNS addresses in NETWORK DIAL-UP > PREFERENCES.

This has been covered elsewhere and you should be searching....
