This is not me (sorry to disappoint !)

« on: January 27, 2010, 01:48:38 PM »

I'm clutching at straws here, but thought I'd see if this was worth persuing:

My daughter got an Xbox 360 for Xmas. It came with just an Ethernet cable for online use. I was wondering if it would be possible to use my Elonex OneT as a sort of wireless adapter for it ? The Elonex attaches to our wireless router with no problems. Is there some way to use the wired connection on the Elonex to feed "the internet" (as received through its wifi) to the wired socket on the Xbox ?

Currently using the Default OS but I'd be happy to give 3MX or Debian Etch a try, if there's a suitable utility on either of them. Or is this just not possible ? It'd be nice if I coud avoid forking out £50 for an Xbox wireless adapter when I've already got the OneT.

Edit: Posted in the wrong forum - could an admin move it, please ?
