Well, technically, it should be possible, as there is a MIPS port of Android:

http://www.mipsandroid.org/

Don't expect to be able to download complete packages there, there are only repositories that need to be compiled. It would be really interesting to see if it works on a LLL.

Skytone (the original hardware producer) seems to have some devices using Android, but it's not for the same hardware as minibook/elonex, unfortunately. The thingy has a touch screen. I'm not sure if you can use Android without a touch screen.

Best,
Marcin

Magically 7'' touch screens are floating around, cheap. I've got my hands on one,  I've ordered some more.....and some more LLL's .....detailed tutorial as soon as they get here. I have one thats working now, but i'd rather wait till i can show my work .....otherwise im just showing off.....I'd love to get android on this thing.

To run Android, we first have to have a working 2.6 kernel. At the moment it's in development, but it takes quite a lot of work. I think it will soon be finished, though. Then, we have to get Android to accept the kernel, and after everything is functioning, we can install apps to use it.
