Can I have 3MX on Impulse NPX-900???

H,i first post so be nice please..!

I just bought a lot of The Impulse NPX-900 thought they would be good for kids Xmas at least until I tried to use one myself.
I couldnt hook up with internet, well I could, it showed connected but nothing in the browser screen, really cant suss out the wireless option 'cause when I try to configure it the options are in Chinese.
And obvioulsy I then find out there is no installations to be had...Damn!?!?
So new OS sounds good. read up on it, 3mx fantastic, download it, bang it on a SD Card switch on press f3...nothing, tried again nothin, different SD Card nothing just keeps booting up as normal...!
Anyway please help guys, I am a noob on the loose.
Just in case the specs are different:
400MHZ INTEL/MARVELL XSCALE CPU
128M SDRAM
1GB NAND FLASH.
So can this be done, can I change the OS? If so does any one have an Idiots guide..

Sadly nothing on this forum in the form of software or alternate OS's will work on that device. Xscale is an ARM based CPU. Everything found here is for MIPS based cpu's.

Oh Well.. Thanks for your quick reply, allthough its not the answer I was hoping for
I shall keep looking for a solution and if i come up with anything I let you know..
Until then keep up the good work and does anyone have an idea as to what to do with these units
ie: doorwedges or tablemats?

u can use it as a mousepad (for optical mouse,excellent!!)

Good thinking, a mouse pad..but.. ive got five of them (bargain couldnt resist).
Ive decided to send them back and have just bought some of the Maplins variety
instead.
