Abiword Spelling

This is the first day I have had chance to play with my onet. I've noticed that the spelling part of Abiword is grayed out. Does anyone know how to switch this on?

Spell checking works in Bon Echo, so it should work in Abiword somehow.

i've noticed this too, if you press F7 it tells you that spell check has been completed but it doesnt do anything. maybe it needs a patch?
