Hey! This little minibook is coming on in leaps and bounds! Done all the mods and looking real great! Ta!

And it seems to be running much faster than I've ever seen it before....  :D

Well Well Well...

I have done something my self for once. Loving the dark themes and with davids help, i have made a dark and green theme.

As this is my first ever bit of linux do hickyness i want as much feedback and ideas for improvs as possible.

Download the file below, and save it. Then move it in to etc/jwm/
Simples. Now I am happy with it as it is. its not gastly and horrific. I accept it might not be everyones thing though. So my next skin i plan on is going to be a blue, white a cyan one with the same menu and task bar layout. That should be uploaded by this evening and if your lucky the red and black one should also be uploaded. And if your extra lucky, a yellow one could be uploaded all by tonight:D

WARNING!

THIS WORKED ON MY ELONEX ONE T PLUS BUT I CANNOT GARANTEE IT WILL WORK FOR YOU. I SUGGEST MAKING A BACK UP OF YOUR CURRENT "JWMRC" FILE INCASE THIS FAILS.

Changes

Green. Lots of it.
The clock and volue controls are even green!

I have managed to put the tray icons that are in the top left corner of the Desktop and make them also be next to the menu button.

Things i dislike
I cant change the colour of the 'LED lights' on the CPU/RAM monitor and the Wifi Monitor.

Plans
Next i plan on doing a pink version, (mostly for my sister) that i will share with you, a red and black, blue/white and maybe a yellow and black. i am open to ideas that people want :D

Enjoy
Sam

Sam, nice one, quite green too! :)

However, the problem for me is that I've done a few little tweaks myself, and installing a full jwmrc overwrites them. Would it be better for you to just give the lines that have been changed, and annotate them...  e.g.

<!-- SGR - lines 118 to 136 changed from black to green and...  etc.... -->

<Active>
         <Text>green</Text>
<!-- #DEBIAN
         <Title>black:#006C00</Title>
         <Corner>green</Corner>
-->
         <Title>black:#006C00</Title>
         <Corner>black:#006C00</Corner>
         <Outline>black</Outline>
      </Active>

      <Inactive>
         <Text>green</Text>
         <Title>black:#3A583F</Title>
         <Corner>green</Corner>
         <Outline>black</Outline>
      </Inactive>

Then, they can either be cut-and-pasted in or changed manually. And our own tweaks easily kept....

Just a thought...

Thanks for that unh, i will do is make it on my jwm file and just overwrite, and then upload the file with annotations so you know what to copy and paste, because i am not good with counting lines :P so the file will read something like this:

THEME STARTS HERE

<Active>
         <Text>green</Text>
<!-- #DEBIAN
         <Title>black:#006C00</Title>
         <Corner>green</Corner>
-->
         <Title>black:#006C00</Title>
         <Corner>black:#006C00</Corner>
         <Outline>black</Outline>
      </Active>

      <Inactive>
         <Text>green</Text>
         <Title>black:#3A583F</Title>
         <Corner>green</Corner>
         <Outline>black</Outline>
      </Inactive>

THEME ENDS HERE

so that way, those who have tweaks can keep them. Hope this is ok. I also will upload a compleat jwm file fo those who are lazy, or havnt tweaked. I plan on maybe changing the tray icons or the taskbar icons for differant functions. Also, the pink/purple and dark theme is compleat. uploading it now. without the tags. I need to do tags from the next theme

For now just scroll down to the bottom untill you see the <!-- visual styles --!> line, copy all of the below untill you
see virtual desktops.

I *may* make a new icons pack for the smaller buttons. So there will be big fire fox icon and then one named firefoxmini.png or somthing like that.

I will edit this post with the pink file.
"Wow baby i was booorn! With a fast fuuuuse!"
"I wanna go fast!"
"Tango With Added Tango... You've been Tango'd!"

This has been my first experiance with linux, the LLL. Now i have installed it on the laptop that came with M$.!
