Tried above patches changed channel but still nothing, it refuses to connect,....

Mr Green,

Don't despair, you are not alone.
I have NEVER been able to connect to our network which consists of a Linksys WAP54G access point wired through an SMC14BRUP cable router with WPA or WPA2.
The only way the OneT+ will connect is if I "downgrade" the network security to WEP and turn off MAC filtering on the AP and router. Obviously I am not prepared to run it that way on a permanent basis.

I know silly question...but have you tried rebooting/resetting your wifi router?
Is the auto DNS enabled? Did you check what channels are the neighbouring wireless network on?  Isn't there any interference?
On your routers the web interface did you check whether the connection of other devices (computers with other MAC) is allowed?

Possibly other settings?

Thanks for the reply.

Yep! I have tried all of the above.....many times; no good!

It may be that the Linksys WAP54G access point is a few years old now.
Technology moves on apace, and it may not like talking to our LLL.
Although, having said that, the AP and Router do work fine with our other machines which are current technology.

I keep meaning to try the LLL on our Daughters network, which uses a Netgear wireless router; just haven't got around to it yet.

Hi Leven2e,

Yes, the firmware on both the router and the AP are current.
3MX is installed on the LLL (OneT+) at the moment, but I have tried both the latest Elonex recovery, and the cnM notebook recovery (using the relevant uImage files in each case) All patches etc. have been installed in each case also.
None of this has any effect I'm afraid.
It's no big deal, just frustrating, eth0 works fine.
After all the LLL is more of a gadget to play with for me and an introduction to Linux.

If you refer to the LLL WiFi adapter, then yes it is.
I thought it defaulted to on anyway, or is that not the case with 3MX?

The WiFi screen has the "Active WiFI" button greyed-out so I'm assuming it is on.
I can see the WiFi LED flashing through the lid, and wistumbler2 shows networks.
