The First release of 3MX is now done! I will be mailing the cd out tomorrow, so watch for news and download over at littlelinuxlaptop.com over the next coming week or so.

I'm going on vacation the rest of the week and wont be around much. Hopefully by the time i'm back home the download will be up.

I tried and couldnt quite figure out how to make a proper .rec. I have an idea, just need to gather more info. So for now it's an .img only. Sorry.

This distro looks like the business, I can't wait to give this a try.
It looks like a lot of hard work has gone into it.

I also can't wait to be on proper braodband again, so both will come at the same time

No worries - I'm sure someone in LLL-land will be able to give you help with that. I'm constantly amazed by the level of expertise in the hacker community surrounding these machines.

Does anyone know if it's possible to force a ONEt to use a .img file to recover its OS (i.e., can you follow the recovery procedure for the Trendtac / Alpha 400) ? Or if that's not possible, is there some straightforward means of converting between the two formats ?

Update :

Hoping the mail does me right, the new distro should be available later today.

A copy has been sent to me to put online as Matt/aka wicknix, is  not able to upload it to a files server @ this time..

After i upload it, then it will just be how fast Menno gets it up on his site.



update will be done later today for the verdict of rather it got here or not.

For the eager beavers the download is now available. 

It probably wont be until monday or tuesday before its linked off littlelinuxlaptop.com. Once it is i'll probably create a new thread on the forum about it.

hi,
installed it works fine but found some bugs,
1. when pressing exit it doesnt shuts down the laptop but restarts it.
2. after restarting the ''enable desktop icons'' button doesnt work
but overall good distro!

Right from the horses fingers so to speak, when it gets to the boot screen after the restart simply turn off at teh button. Wick is looking in to solutions but his is working fine. When the RR or Rec Recovery comes out i will install and try out.
