It was over a weak wifi connection to be honest... I'm sure it would have been faster if I had plugged in but I wasn't near a port at the time.

Thanks for that guys. If I get chance I'll do it via an ethernet cable rather than the wi-fi, if not, I'll do as soon as possible on Christmas Day.

I think the best think to do,is updating before you do anything else,since it more than likely solve most of the problems you may have (eg wifi prob,spellcheck,etc)
